Below I will mention several types of fish that can be consumed despite the fact you have gout. I tried all of them and they didn’t cause me any issues, so you won’t suffer from these types of fish either. All of these have between 50 and 150 milligrams of purines per 100 grams. This is the main reason why they are safe to consume.

This exotic fish is also great for gout sufferers. It doesn’t contain high levels of purines, so you are free to consume it more frequently than some other types of fish.

And yes, here I will mention another type of fish which can be consumed if you suffer from gout. I like eating this fish and I have never noticed any complications after a meal or two of the fish in question.

Fish must be consumed once per a week. Never base the entire diet on any type of fish. After all, fish and gout can be mixed but only in moderation. Consuming it 2-4 times per a week will increase the risk of gout and more severe symptoms.

Fish that should be avoided with gout
Sadly, not all types of fish can be consumed by gout sufferers. Some fish contains more than 150 milligrams of purines per 100 grams, which made them forbidden for all gout patients. Try to remember that even the smallest amount of these fish must be eliminated from your diet completely.
Simply because it is rich in purines, it must be avoided at all cost.
Sadly, if you suffer from gout, sardines must be avoided. This isn’t the low purine fish so it must be completely eliminated from your diet.

I will also add that it protects you from many, different diseases.
If you like consuming this oil, make sure that you get it from high-quality vendors or manufacturers. Always make sure that you have read all the reviews of that, particularly fish oil you want to consume. If the reviews are positive, you are free to use it. There is no need in telling you that you must take only the amount which is recommended. You may take an advice from your healthcare provider due to the fact fish oil should be taken differently for different symptoms.

Now the fish oil and gout. There have been several reports that patients who suffer from gout claimed that fish oil has been more than just helpful with gout flares. Some type of sea animals must be avoided at all cost. This refers to seafood, lobsters, and shellfish in general. All of them are rich in purine, which will increase the levels of uric acid in your body which can mean only one thing. Your symptoms will get more severe or you will develop gout if you are a primary type of a gout sufferer.
Not only that, these foods must be avoided, but they must not be an addition to a regular diet. As I have mentioned, they must be avoided at all cost, so don’t even try to eat them despite the fact they are delicious. If it has a shell, it must be avoided.

The fish which is banned must be eliminated from your diet at all cost. It must not be consumed even in the smallest amounts, due to high purine levels.
