You can literally decrease the risk of the gout and gout attacks, if you start using the recommended solutions in time. Painkillers are effective, but they come with so many side effects that I personally avoid them as much as possible.

Luckily, Mother Nature thinks of us, and it helps us get all the help we do need from nature. There are so many plants and herbs which are effective in combating gout.

One plant probably stands out from the crowd more than any other. Gout and aloe vera have been explored to the smallest detail and these two have an appealing correlation. Aloe vera is one of the best treatments for gout attacks.

What is Aloe Vera?

Aloe Vera has been the most intriguing plant for centuries. It grows in dry areas all around the world, similar to cactus areas but these two plants don’t have anything in common. They are completely different. Aloe Vera is a member of the Lilly family, and there are over 100 different species.

You probably know that the most appealing ingredient is the gel-substance that grows inside the plant. It has been used for treating painful conditions for over 2000 years and it is one of the first natural remedies ever to be used.

There is another substance in the plant that is superbly important. It is called Aloe Vera latex, and it is obtained from the inner skin of the leaves. It consists of 96% water, which is interesting.

Aloe vera was so desirable plant that Alexander the Great actually conquered a small Socotra island just to preserve the farms of the plant there, which were used by his soldiers.

Inside the plant, there are over 100 useful enzymes, vitamins, minerals and so much more. It is one of the richest plants, in this case scenario and the one I just love.
