Which foods you should eat and which ones you should avoid if you are a gout sufferer? The answer is complex and each and every food is different. It is always a better choice to discover the effects of that meal on your condition before you actually try it.
This is where I come to action. I am trying to find all possible and known to man foods that will battle gout and provide some benefit. I am especially interested in foods that decrease uric acid levels and decrease pain in the case of the gout attack.

Should you eat coconut and how much?
Coconut isn’t bad for gout. It won’t spike uric acid and it won’t cause a new attack. What I am trying to say is yes, you can consume this fruit occasionally. Just don’t expect some major improvements with gout!

Use coconut oil 3 times a day for 10 days and use it during the flares. You have 50% odds that it will help you. If there is no improvement, stop using it.
Coconut and gout are something I like to call partially neutral. There are no clear advantages or improvements, but there are no direct drawbacks. There are indirect issues though. You can consume it occasionally, but frequent usage is something to avoid.
