Avocado and gout is something I must explain in detail. First of all, this is one of my favorite fruits which is also the healthiest of them all. It has been among us for 10.000 years and it originated in Central America. The main advantage of this super fruit is its taste, it is great, period. But, did you know that this fruit is so healthy that you should consume it daily? However, for us gout sufferers, some foods are forbidden. Luckily avocado isn’t one of them.
Avocado is rich in vitamins and minerals
The main benefit or advantage of this fruit is in its vitamins and minerals it has to offer. As a matter of fact, it contains more than 20 different vitamins and it is low in calories. However, it is rich in fat. It is considered to be the fattiest food on the planet. But, these fats are good for you and they should be consumed. They come from the fruit so they cannot be bad.

100 grams of avocado will meet a bigger part of your daily intake requirements when it comes to vitamins and mineral. In reality, you will get 20% of folate, vitamin K 26%, Vitamin B5 13% and Vitamin C 17%. The mentioned values are per a daily intake, so literally saying, 200 grams will provide you with 40% of folate you need per a day. But, this isn’t all. Avocados are rich in potassium, magnesium, zinc, iron and etc. Basically, you get most of the vitamins and nutrients you will need daily.
There are a lot of additional benefits avocados offer. They are rich in potassium and they have it more than bananas. Potassium will help you reduce the level of uric acid, therefore it is more than just beneficial fruit for us, gout sufferers. Avocado and gout should be mixed daily in order to get more and more benefits this amazing fruit has to offer.

Yes, avocados will also help you regulate blood pressure and prevent hypertension. They are rich in fiber, therefore they will keep you full for a longer period of time, meaning that they are great if you want to lose weight. The last, but not least, they are essential in promoting good cholesterol and decreasing bad one.
Is avocado good for gout?
Here I must say that eating avocados a few times a week is more than just important for you a gout sufferer. The ingredients we have mentioned will fight off uric acid levels, promote the reparation of the elements surrounding the joints and reduce inflammation. There were several studies which have proved this actually works and you should start applying it to your lifestyle as soon as possible.
I also must add that there are avocado oils or extracts. They are great as well, due to the fact they contain only the best ingredients there are. There are a lot of places where you can get these extracts and they are something you will definitely want to add to your lifestyle. Of course, don’t forget that real avocados are beneficial as well. They are so healthy that every single person should consume one or two per a day. When it comes to side effects or drawbacks, there are no any. These fruits are only beneficial and nothing more.
I know that some of you don’t like avocados, but they are still great if you use them as a part of a meal. They can be the main ingredient in a salad and they can be consumed in multiple ways. All you have to know is that avocados should be eaten as often as possible and nothing more.
Avocado and gout should coexist in order to allow you better life conditions, if you suffer from the condition in question. They are great when mixed together and you can expect lower levels of uric acid, better sleep and many other advantages not a single other food can offer to you. Avocados are also great if you don’t suffer from gout or you just want to have a healthy lifestyle. Keep in mind that you should consume them a few times per a week.
