Avocado and gout is something I must explain in detail. First of all, this is one of my favorite fruits which is also the healthiest of them all. It has been among us for 10.000 years and it originated in Central America. The main advantage of this super fruit is its taste, it is great, period. But, did you know that this fruit is so healthy that you should consume it daily? However, for us gout sufferers, some foods are forbidden. Luckily avocado isn’t one of them.

Avocado is rich in vitamins and minerals

The main benefit or advantage of this fruit is in its vitamins and minerals it has to offer. As a matter of fact, it contains more than 20 different vitamins and it is low in calories. However, it is rich in fat. It is considered to be the fattiest food on the planet. But, these fats are good for you and they should be consumed. They come from the fruit so they cannot be bad.

100 grams of avocado will meet a bigger part of your daily intake requirements when it comes to vitamins and mineral. In reality, you will get 20% of folate, vitamin K 26%, Vitamin B5 13% and Vitamin C 17%. The mentioned values are per a daily intake, so literally saying, 200 grams will provide you with 40% of folate you need per a day. But, this isn’t all. Avocados are rich in potassium, magnesium, zinc, iron and etc. Basically, you get most of the vitamins and nutrients you will need daily.

They are so healthy that every single person should consume one or two per a day. When it comes to side effects or drawbacks, there are no any. These fruits are only beneficial and nothing more.

I know that some of you don’t like avocados, but they are still great if you use them as a part of a meal. They can be the main ingredient in a salad and they can be consumed in multiple ways. All you have to know is that avocados should be eaten as often as possible and nothing more.
